How much lowering makes you need this to be done?

How many miles on the odo makes an old car?

J's are one piece, T1R are split.

Bear in mind that the one piece ones require that you completely remove the half-shafts from the diff which means that the ball joints need to be popped at the hub end. Not difficult but a bit of a chore.

Woah - glitch in the Matrix...? (RTFT! )

There is much talk on why they are needed.

The thing is, if you are removing the shafts, then you might as well swap the buckets around.

This has a cost of

Im definitely interested.
Could we not do a GB on the T1R ones? Im pretty sure they are split and don't cost anywhere near as much as the J's.
Just to clarify this gb is NOT for the J's product.

The T1R product costs circa 130 euros IIRC.

The product that I can source costs 70 Euros.

If you like chucking cash away then go for one of the more expensive one, but as has been alluded to on here, those that want to can simply hacksaw them in half before fitting.

I've read 20mm+ but I don't think there is enough evidence for that to be a conclusive comment. My car had a drop of 40mm at its lowest and I developed the half shaft vibration within about 15K miles.

Looks like we have around 5 people interested so far, a few more and I'll make this an official GB.
