FS: S2000 Engine parts
Finally got around to taking pics of engine yesterdayMY00 , you will see from the photos where exactly the con rod broke free for a holiday. Engine now stored in my garage.
Details:- Engine blew at around 75MPH in 6th gear, was not pushing it hard.
Engine had covered just under 44k and had been reguarly serviced, only the last service not done by honda - wont be doing that again!!!
Could not afford for honda to investigate cause of engine failure as well as pay for replacement engine, spoke to friendly mechanic at dealer who said having looked at it No.4 had seized - oil had been checked recently and oil light had not warned of low oil, judging by the amount of oil left on motorway that was not the problem, not sure wether or not the recall was carried out.
Did try to speak to honda uk and arrange some assistance but they insisted that it be stripped down by the dealer to ascertain the cause of the failure - like i said above could not afford this option as they wanted nearly

I am pretty sure it is in good order, it has got a small scrape accross the bottom (where I moved it on the floor) Will have a better look at it tomorrow for you and try and get a couple of pictures.
