OEM macpherson strut actually!!
A Mac Strut is an inferior suspension design to a double wishbone suspension system, but is normally used in preference due to it's simplicity, cost and ease of packaging into the chassis, no requirement to allow room for the upper wishbone...therefore good for FWD.
Any shock/spring where the shock and spring can be removed from the car as an assembled unit and where the spring fits outside the damper is a coilover, with the exception of the spring / damper incorporated into a MacPherson Strut.
The aftermarket manufacturers seem to have successfully managed to hijack the term coilover to mean their products in particular. In principle there is no difference between aftermarket coilovers and OEM ones.
