Hope your sale is as speedy (or if not, as conveniently timed) as mine ...

I've been down this route in my head a few times - should I get a newer model (S/H) still under warranty - I just can't justify it. The changes in the newer cars are just too insignificant, AND I know the car. Why buy the same car with an unknown history. Honda got it close enough to right the first time

That's exactly how I'm thinking Chris.

There's always been a car that I've wanted to move on to, but at the moment there just isn't. I can't afford to run the more fragile sports cars and I don't care for Porsches.

Many thanks to Bassoctopus for taking the time out this evening to educate a noob like me about the S. This evenings little chat and blurt down some nice windy country lanes has convinced me to get one

Mind you, I also thoroughly enjoyed nailing the mk2 back down a few twisties on the way back

After a blat round some twisties and some talk about the condition of my car along with faults, I just found myself thinking "why on earth do I want to sell it?"

There's been a lot of anti-s2000 talk on this forum, just go out and drive your car to be reminded about how good it really is.

So back to the question - Do I really want to sell it? Hmmm I really can't say at this stage.
Neil, I posted on a Z4 forum yesterday asking about the differences between the 2.5 and 3.0 and whilst I had several replies answering the question - I also had a couple of owners advise me to keep the S

I was a bit surprised, but they had all had details of rattles or bad dealers or warranty issues.

Replacments are bit of a problem

Ho hum - could be worse, at least I have a great car for the summer.
