Hey I'm not complaining...I hope you get it..it means I'll be able to get an unexpected extra couple on mine when I sell it later in the year.

Same problem as you on replacement though....may have to bite the bullet and jump to the 911 - there's precious little else out there.

Honda really should have given us something different to aspire to by now

I want to try an NSX but the nearest trade car on autotrader is 150 miles away. I'm struggling even to find cars I'm interested in test driving, maybe a 993 would be worth a go.

How long did the plate change take you?
Took a little over a week to get the new V5C and retention certificate back when I sold my private plate recently and had to apply to put a normal registration on in its place.

Mind you, when I then had to send the retention certificate back again to get the nominee changed, it took 3-4 weeks for it to be returned. It may just be luck of the draw!

I put mine on retention prior to putting the car up for sale, and it took just over 4 weeks to come back.

The plot thickens, and the decision gets tougher...

MoonMonkey has just been up to have a look at the car, kick some tyres and get some advice on what to look for when he's viewing other cars (nice to meet you both BTW )

After a blat round some twisties and some talk about the condition of my car along with faults, I just found myself thinking "why on earth do I want to sell it?"

The original S2000 is an superb car - the suspension setup is just how I like it, I don't think I want anything softer (02 or 04), the vtec kick is brilliant, and the interior is perfect for everyday, occasional driving or going away on holiday.

There's been a lot of anti-s2000 talk on this forum, just go out and drive your car to be reminded about how good it really is.

So back to the question - Do I really want to sell it? Hmmm I really can't say at this stage.
