I sat and waited at the dvla office last time, and they didn't do it there and then, but the paperwork was posted back to me within a week.

I'm going through the plate change business now and it's a right pita!!!!

Again, fortunately for me the guy who bought my car is happy to help out as long as I pay for it.... still a right hassle though so my advice would be to sort it out now.

Secondly, where abouts in the North East are you?? I'm after an S2K and could be interested!!!

I've sold mine (went 2 weeks ago). However, I've only just started looking in earnest. Not in any immediate hurry though as I have the use of another car for the time being...........

You know the situation with mine, I'll have to make a concrete decision by the start of August if it's going to be sold so I can remove the plate.

Time to get test driving some different stuff

If you need a hand with any local cars let me know

Neil, if you buy the Elise, I don't think the Modifry adapter will be of use to you?

I realise that!

That's pretty academic though, because I've made a decision on whether I'll sell the car or not...

If I find something else that I want instead - Elise, VX etc then I'll keep the S2k for another year. If I decide that I want another S2k then I'll sell this summer (in which case I will need the modifry adapter ) .

Now for the fun bit of testing as many different cars as possible over the next month
