Default FS: My 2005 S2000 Moonrock/Black

Sadly I have to sell my S2000 after only a short while having it due to needing a 4 door car again.

2005/54 reg Honda S2000 GT for sale in Moonrock Grey with full black leather interior.

Comes with the following:

Power steering
Electric windows
Electric mirrors
Radio/CD player
Electric roof (lowers in around 7 secs)
Xenon headlights
Air conditioning (ice cold)

The car is a later model with the revised suspension and alloys with facelift bumpers and LED lights. It also comes with the optional headrest speakers for better sound quality.

The car has full service history, is taxed until end November 2010 and is MOTd until June 2011. It is in immaculate condition, the roof is the same and there is no kerbing on the alloys whatsoever. The tyres are Bridgestone RE050s all round and have good tread depth (fronts look almost new). The best bit is that the car has a HONDA happiness warranty until June 2011 with free MOT for life. Car has covered just 50000 miles.

As with the GT spec it also has a matching hardtop and unlike most that I saw it also has the Honda hardtop stand and cover.

Price is £10995. Please contact via PM for any questions or to view. More pics available on request.

Could anyone tell if the price is about right for this as interest has been quite low to say the least....!

Yeh I'd say a little over priced but not madly over. A friend of mine paid that over 1 year ago for virtually the same spec/car.

I'd say about right, mine will be the same spec with 10k more miles and I would hope to fetch *around* 10k.

i think you're a bit over mate... i'd mention the hardtop earlier in your description and in a photo too as this is a selling point over none GTs, your mileage is high for an S though.

you could always de-GT it, remove the brackets (£400+) and the hardtop (£400+) and sell the car as a none gt

Something to consider, car is on the usual sites so have changed the description slightly...

So how much would the car be worth as a non GT, and how do I remove those brackets?

Bracket removal is quite easy. Push the seats all the way forward, pop off the sill trim, and the side panel trim, and trim behind the seat. You will then be able to see the catchers and unbolt them.

as MB said it's pretty easy once you've swallowed a brave pill - the sill covers just pull off then the cover going up behind the door does the same and you will see a black bracket bolted to the car under those brushes - this takes the pin from your HT

you could part out the ht, brackets, stand and cover or try and sell as one unit - my prices were fairly conservative, i shopped around and got the brackets for £350 from a breaker where the owner had kept the ht but that's pretty cheap

I've actually just done mine, took 15 mins Allow 1 hour for first attempt. You will need a phillips screwdriver, a 10mm and a 12mm socket.
