Default FS: Brand New, Boxed, Never Ridden

I have in my possession a brand new, never ridden, still in its box, pedals never attached, saddle cardboard never removed (you get the picture, its new, mint, perfect) Specialized P1 All Mountain.

The reason for sale? Bike is an insurance replacement for my old bike which was sadly stolen. I am just about to move to Bromley so will be getting a commuter bike to replace it.

Picture below is of the actual bike in my lounge. It's now gone back into the box pictured to ensure it doesn't get scratched or marked.

As you can see from the picture, this is the model which comes with front and rear disc brakes. There is a 17 sticker on the back of the frame next to the rear wheel so I assume this is the frame size.

And below the link to the bike on the specialized website with all the spec

http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bc/SBCBkM...?sid=10P.AllMTN

Due to the fact this is brand spanking new I'm not in a position to offer a test ride of the bike (nip to your local stockist !).

Bike is for COLLECTION ONLY and will not be posted or shipped anywhere. I move house from Central London to Bromley on June 19th, so if you want it after then and live in Bromley and can't make the trek here to get the bike, I will hold it for you till then if a deposit is given to secure sale.

I am located in London, SW8, right by Battersea Dogs Home (if you know the area). For anyone not local there is ample free parking available outside the apartments I live in.

Most importantly, the price... The place that supplied the bike to me sells it for just shy of £400. In order to secure a quick sale I will accept £350. Payment must be in cash and I won't accept cheque/paypal/credit card/payment plans etc

Please post in here if you want any further details, however I'm not much of a cyclist (gulp!) so if its anything too technical I'm afraid I just won't know the answer.

Update - In order to secure a sale prior to moving next week I'll lower this to £300 no offers. Please drop me a line if interested.

Are you cycling into London from Bromley? Its a bit of a trek, esp if you go via Crystal Palace! I generally followed the A2 as its flat!

Keep the bike, get some skinny tyres (you will pay no more than £60) and you will have your commuter!

Thanks for the reply !

I am indeed cycling into London, its about 11 miles door to door by my guesstimate (Following the A2) so thanks for the tip re it being flat

Its probably a bit heavy for a commuter bike isn't it? That and it just seems a crying shame for what to me looks like a really capable off roader to stick to the streets.

I'm looking at a Trek FX 7.3 as the replacement. Rode a few bikes yesterday and this is definitely the favourite !

I have just noticed you're in Bromley yourself, I'm moving to Westmoreland road up by the tesco petrol station by Bromley south, what about you? (recommend me some italian restaurants and chinese takeaways please !)

Couple of people with Trek Hybrids in the office and I've had a few Trek bikes. certainly the right sort of bike for that distance.

I had a specialized like the one above but minus the suspension fork. a very sturdy hardtail.
