Am I correct in thinking that I couldn't swap 17 oems for a set of winter 16s without a speedo re-calibration?

No, the profile between 16" and 17" is usually the same given different tyre sizes. ie. the diameter on a 16" with a standard tyre is the same as a 17" with its standard tyre, hence the speedo reads the same. I am open to correction on that though.

Agreed.

The 16s should have 225 rears. Its only the 17" wheels where a 245 tire was introduced.

They bloody will, any toyo tyre has more wet grip than a bridgestone tyre, Ive had both.

Anyway this is a for sale thread, go and raise a thread in the other section If you want to banter.
