FS: 4 Standard 16" Wheels + Tyres
Hi Guys,
My standard wheels no longer fit due to my rear toe arms, so Im going to have to put them up for sale.
They are MY99 wheels in good condition for the year, and come complete with mint centre caps, and Toyo T1R tyres.
There are slight marks and bubbles in places (click on picture to see more detail) , but all the wheels are straight and would make ideal winter wheels or track wheels.
The tyres are in mint condition and have 6mm of tread at the front and 4.2mm at the rear, so plenty of meat left, and come with the correct 245 tyre width for the rear.
Im after £270 but Im open to offers
Collection only, and Im based in Sheffield South Yorkshire.
PM me or post on here.
Cheers
Jon

I'm very surprised nobody is interested in these???
I’m only looking for replacement 16” wheels to avoid the cost and hassle of refurbing my own wheels.
Most people go for 17” when they change the wheels because of the improved handling/looks. I’m not doing this because I’ve got a set of nearly new tyres on my car and don’t want to waste them.
As for the tyres.
Sorry, but there’s no way I’m using someone else’s old tyres on my car.
I’d rather pay the cash and get a set of new rubber.

Thats not what tire rack says????
Rob888 - Nothing wrong with using old rubber, as the geo is cock on and have worn even all around. Plus If its for the track/ winter it wont matter much.
Anyway, final drop £200 collected.

Just to clear up the 225/245 issue, as far as it can be (and much of it is inthe FAQ).
The S02 had quite a wide tread pattern for a 225 section tyre. There was, therefore, som advice from Bridgestone stating that if you wanted to use a different make of tyre, then a 245 section was preferable. he cynics amongst us suggest that this might have been an attempt to persuade people to stick to Bridgestone.
Interestingly, Brdgestone's own replacement is the RE050a, with a 225 section (admittedly, it's a bit narrowrer in terms of tread pattern than the S02) but it's still recommended.
I've used both S02s and RE050as, on road and on track and both tyres are fine. Some will no doubt disagree, but above are the facts.
