Hi guys, wasn't sure where to post this, but can anyone recommend a place in London / south east to get the uk exhaust mod done? Been to powerflow in Bromley and they want £170!! Seems way over what other people are paying. Solid fabrications quoted £130/140 but can't do it for 3-4 weeks. Anyone had it done anywhere else near me they can suggest?? Thanks

I can't suggest a garage as I am from Newcastle, however I had this done recently for £30 - to keep costs down I took the exhaust off the car myself (easy) and cut the bridging pipework myself with an angle grinder (quite tricky!) so all the garage had to do was cut the holes and weld the bridge pipes in. The garage actually suggested I went away and did this to keep my costs down as they had done it before but had to charge £150 due to the time it took to cut the pipes to shape.
If you are handy with a spanner and a grinder then this may be worth doing...
