Hi, I've been looking for a new car for a while and have decided on an s2000. Been looking at the second hand market but given I want an 04 MY car, it looks like new is the best bet.

I've looked at a few dealer sites and they vary so much in price for a given specification that a second hand car with 10k on the clock can be more than a discounted new one!

Also noticed that the priviate second hand market is mostly dearer than some of the more competitive dealers!

I've emailed and phoned a few dealers but none of them seem to be too bothered in selling, so I've decided to probably go with a broker to cut out the BS.

Cheers, Yeah I thought about it but for the sake of 1500 I thought it might be worth getting a UK one. I know there isn't any difference really and they all come from Japan but as I'm buying cash I need to think of resale.

Re the Hondas place, on autotrader the postcode of the showroom comes up as park lane, so one weekend thought I'd have a look, the address doesn't exist!

I have a feeling they have a registered office in London but the cars are kept in Yorkshire, although I could be wrong.
