Zymol question
Please can you tell me about the Zymol (greenly liquid) that you can find in Halfords. It appears to be a shampoo of some sort but the Zymol I hear people speak about on here sounds like a wax. So, what's the difference if any. Thanks in advance.

Zymol is a make of products. IIRC the Zymol found in Halfords is not the same as so highly rated on these forums, and its much cheaper.
The Zymol wax in Halfords is ok but produces a lot white residue, it looks turquoise / spearmint in colour. The green stuff is the Zymol car shampoo, and I think its very good.
I am sure the Zymol crew will be on to correct me and to point you in the right direction for the expensive stuff. But for a learner you cannot go wrong with the Zymol stuff in Halfords.
For the more professional finish I would recommend the following: Meguiar's, Zymol, Zaino, Swissol in no particular order. Oh, and P21S is an AMAZING wax.

The above is the old 'Sportscarworld' site.
The starter kits are the best for starting out....the Japon wax one is what you need.
Having said that......the wax has lasted me for a year.

The guys are right.
The Zymol from Halfords will be just about as good as (maybe a little better) any other shampoo/polish/wax from Halfords.
You can get the quality stuff from the link supplied by San.
More details on the products available from www.zymol.co.uk
For an example of the results, check out their car of the month for last November. ...

Wax snobbery, whatever next.
We may not be hairdressers like the MX5 and Boxster contingent, but there is an alarming number of poncey wax-related threads on this forum for my liking!
