Zymol Group Buy for SM3
Is there anyone out there interested in buying some Zymol products?
I shall, soon, be ordering some more for myself from my (kinda) local distributor, namely Specialist Cars of Malton.
Considering that SM3 is on the horizon I could easily bring a bag full of those lovely Zymol accessories with me. I'll be getting various items myself, check out their web site and let me know if there's anything you need.
If there are any Zymol products you need that aren't on the site I'm sure that they could get them in for us, just let me know. (i.e. I couldn't see any of the Synthetic Chamois on there)
I recently brought some of the Concours Wax. It's really is fantastic stuff.

Fletch, I suspect that demand is limited since (a) Kev has just put another Zaino order through and (b) Zymol isn't as hard to source in the UK anyway, so it's just as easy for individuals to toddle along to the Zymol site and order it themselves with next day delivery.
Unless you're going to negotiate a discount with Specialist Cars....?
(I'm using up my stock of Zymol with a view to jumping on board Kev's next GB in August......)

I'm probably going to put the cat amongst the pigeons with this one as no doubt there have been a number of historic battles on this subject but for a simpleton like me why go Zaino if there is an equivalent called Zymol that can be sourced in the UK?

That's a vexed question, Chris. The Zainoholics claim it gives a better finish and is easier to use than the carnauba wax-based Zymol.
I for my part have only ever used Zymol so I can't do a direct compare-and-contrast. Those that have used both say that Zaino has the edge. From the ones I've seen in photos and the "flesh", they are undoubtedly impressive. Whether they're THAT much better than Zymol (which I've had some really good results with ) is a moot point.
I went for Zymol purely because I could order it online from a supplier in the UK, rather than having the faff of ordering Zaino from either Germany or the US and not being able to order online and therefore pay by credit card. Of course, with Kev no organising "no pain" group buys of the stuff, that makes life much easier and removes that as a factor.

Well hopefully I will get to know Zaino some time soon - maybe we can meet up around Solihull some time soon and compare finishes or better still I'll show you what Nuneaton has to offer (then again), seems like another good excuse for a swift half as well.

Top idea, Chris. I'm going to most likely jump on the Zaino bandwagon when Kev organises the next one, by which time I hope to have exhausted my supply of Zymol consumables and can flog the remainder of the wax on here or ebay - it will give me a chance to see close up what the wonder product can do in practice.

Are you listening Nobby?
Mark, I'd be interested in some Zymol / Zaino comparison results myself.
