I've read a few threads on car care and quite often Zainol is mentioned which I know nothing about.
Is it a specialist polish in which case what is special about it and how do you apply it, where do I get it and what is the approx price?
Or is it a professionally applied spray laquer to enhance/protect the existing paint finish?
In which case same questions I guess.

It's actually Zaino, rather than Zainol.
Have a look at www.zainobros.com for all the information.
There is a UK stockist but I can't remember who is is, I'm afraid. Most people on the board get theres as part of the periodic group buys, which are placed with a supplier in Canada as it's still cheaper to pay the shipping and duty than to buy in the UK!
