maybe the watermarks are due to the hard water in my area?!? I don't know, but I know what I see on my car after each and every wash and that is water marks. I can only see them when I am drying on the car is already dry and at a certain angle. They are really there. I have tried everything and unitl now they were always present. Will update after 1 week of use.

Well On Friday I washed dried and applied the Z5 without the addition of the ZFX. I let the polish dry for 3 hours, and then buffed the car.
So far I have not had a problem with watermarks (caused by dew) so it could be possible that the ZFX is contributing tot he problem. Once we have some rain, or if the marks turn up I will post again.

Hi this is the reply from Dr Alex
Dear Kevin,
in fact I have no real explanation why there were no rain spots with Z1 but some with ZFX. With Zaino you have a protecting layer on your paint so the water spots can?t burn too easy inside the paint. That what is making the spots, is the remaining lime when the water evaporates and neither Z1 nor ZFX can prevent this effect. As Zaino is enhancing the surface tension of the paint, water on the paint will build a lot of tiny drops which will fly away very fast while driving but which will work like a lens when exposed to the sun. There is no mistake in your work with ZFX. Maybe it is due to different air pollution or other environmental reasons.
Today I could see on my own car what Zaino is worth for. My car stood one week under a tree and was covered with bird drops. I protected it 2 months ago with ZFX/Z2. On the top surfaces nothing happened to the paint but on the side where Zaino already was washed off due to long travel in rain the bird drops burned into the paint and I will have to polish it physically.
Hope I could help you.
Best regards
Dr Alex (Zaino Europe)
