Kev,
I'm gonna officially convert from Autoglym to Zaino...........the recent deluge of piccies on this board have convinced me and I'm fed up of white residue in all my nooks and crannies!.
As stated, I'm a complete beginner to Zaino'ing but having looked at your notes plus the Zaino website I 'm concluding that I need the following:
1 x ZFX
1 x Z2
2 x Z6
2 x Z7
1 x Z16
4 x polish applicators
Does that look about right?. ZFX over Z1 seems to make sense and Z2 over Z5 also given that I have a light coloured car (Silverstone) with not many scratches etc.
Will avoid the interior stuff for now as i) I'll be skint and ii) actually think the Autoglym stuff is pretty good so will finish that up first.
Consider this to be my order unless you have any alternative suggestions based on experience. Assume we'll work out payment etc. etc. once the deadline is up.
Cheers!.
Neil

Kev,
Was always in two minds about these. I'm sure they are really good but I can't help but think that it must take absolutely ages to do the whole car? (sounds like going over the whole car with a pencil eraser!!). Whilst I like a clean car (and have spent a day or so cleaning in the past) I'm not a perfectionist.
How long does it take to do the whole car?. How often do you need to do it?. Does it really make that much of a difference?.
Could be tempted but would be interested in your thoughts first!.
Ta,
Neil

Doesn't take long at all Neil - about an hour for the whole car. I personally didn't notice a huge difference - maybe because my car was new?
Definitely get the glass polish - that stuff is magic. You polish your glass once with this stuff - and then just continue using normal window cleaner for subsequent washes until you need to polish the glass again.
Leather in a bottle is a must.

The clay bar is well worth the cash and an extra hour spent. It made a huge difference to my car, I thought my paintwork was fine until I started with the claybar and felt the ingrained nasties literally disappear - my paint finish is like glass now, it's THAT smooth.

Go on then......I'll give the clay bar a go. Revised order:
1 x ZFX
1 x Z2
2 x Z6
2 x Z7
1 x Z16
4 x polish applicators
1 x Z18 claybar
Think I'll resist the rest for now........I actually like the Autoglym leather products that I have so will use these up first before potentially converting.
What's the deal with the glass polish?. Is it that much better than regular window cleaning products??.

I'm ordering the following:
1 x ZFX
1 x Z2
2 x Z6
2 x Z7
1 x Z16
4 x polish applicators
1 x Z18 clay bar
Once washed with fairy liquid and done with the claybar, I assume the minimum to do is wash with Z7, polish with ZFX + Z2 then finish off with Z6. However, sounds like a lot of you layer or "sandwich" several coats. With the stuff I've ordered is there a recommended routine?.
