Octane has nothing to do with fuel quality.

I generally use Shell if I can, even in my Civic. I don't know if it's a placebo, but I reckon it runs more smoothly, even without using 98 (not that higher Octane would make much diff on that).

I presume the S has a knock sensor so it can always retard the timing if u put 95 in it.

my car gets used every day as its the only one ive got. have done one track day so far and thats the only time i put 98 ron fuel in it .

it runs fine on 95 for every day running around, cant see the point of 98 otherwise, just spending more money for the same miles.

hope everyone is using their air con at least once a week ,even in the winter, to keep the oil circulating around the system!

Very rarely in winter, a Mini for general and a Ka for serious
beater driving

The Ford is the most fun, honest around town

Daily driver. Commute in it. It goes everywhere except to the supermarket. ( no way would I park in that shit house car park)
