Usually a daily driver unless its really crappy or I've got to carry Kayaks or climbing kit then it's the Jimny.

I know I'll get my coat now!

Mine will be a daily drive, prob 14 miles a day to/from work, 10-12k a year.

Certainly couldn't afford to do that if it was expensive to run. Might even have to put 95 in it for lazy work runs, but 98 for the weekend! Has anyone tried 99 in it? Any difference?

Don't put in 95 - its full of crap that can clog the injectors, reduce efficiency and performance. its not worth the saving of a few quid - most of which you'll make back in extra miles anyway, and possibly prove to be a false economy when it comes to servicing. the ECU isn't designed for 95 either. Tesco 99 RON seems to work well, but i think its made by using additives. Personally I

in the summer it was everyday, but has spent most of the current winter having a heart transplant so the clio gets used most of the time,
especially now as the road to the old dears is now nicely flooded with a big puddle bout 3-4 inches deep and 15 ft long. nothing better than hitting it at 50mph. cheaper than a car wash

from various recent threads seems i shouldn't try it in the S

Really? I thought the Mk3 was more tolerant of 95, but I understand your false economy statement. I'll certainly be starting with 98 cos I don't think I'll be able to resist that redline!

Use mine every day - 80 miles a day for work about three days a week.
Luckily I can do customer visits on the train though and work from home to keep the mileage down.
One of the reasons I got it in the first place was I relistically only needed one car and the S fits the bill.
