Is yours a daily driver?

Used to use it 50/50 sharing between the S and the beater, but I moved house recently and now only have a 10 minute drive to work. The beater must have known this as on it's last useful journey which was bringing the final load of stuff over to the new place it chucked a rod. Coincidence ?
So now S is my only car.

Daily. Used to do 50 miles a day, now down to 10.
Only been off the road when I ran out of clutch and had to wait for a new part to be shipped from Japan. And 3 days when I put the blower on.

My first one was an only car.
My second one started off as an only car but latterly became a weekend toy after we bought a second car for my wife to drive. More and more of the mundane miles ended up going onto the Clio.

I drive 80 miles per weekday and have done this for 10 months - not one thing has gone wrong and I genuinely look forward to my commute (even though its 80%M3, 10% London, but 10% nat speed limit race track at the end!). I am very happy with it as a commuter, although as with every car I am always saddended when I think of the depreciation the miles will put on (now at 45k). Actually I may start another thread on that topic.. .. .
