I was in the VAG scene for a while showing at the likes of ultimate dubs, edition 38 etc. really enjoyed it but keeping a show car whilst using it daily is hard work. Now i just choose to use my car for pure driving and i feel the s2k is the best car for that.
You've got one of the best examples of one of the best driving cars (imo) in the country. enjoy it

The main thing ive noticed between the VW scene and the Jap scene is the price difference for tuning parts

Cheers everyone! Btw... is there meant to be a space saver in that little cubby hole in the boot, just there's nothing?

Welcome Schooee

Yes it's for the space saver but..............your year S it would have been a 16in, Rob put 18in on, so it would be no use to you or would give a very interesting although short drive, to the nearest ditch!

Guess that like me, there's a fair few here old enough to have been captured in their youth by the early GTi's and found it hard to shake off - I still haven't quite.

So, a month into owning my S, swearing blind I'll keep it stock, then you move this one in just down the A44 - its going to be tough

Welcome Schooee, look forward to following you up Fish Hill one day!

Rich, that logic is not correct. I'll let you work out why.
I'd be quite happy to have the oem space saver if I was running 16, 17 or 18.

Welcome to the forum schooee, enjoy your car. Looking forward to your first photoshoot.
Are you considering megameet7? Would be good to see the car in the flesh.
