I'm currently running Toyo Proxes T1-Rs on front and rear. The rears are a 225, for 2 reasons:

1. Couldn't get 245s without a massive (2week+) wait;
2. 225s recommended by other Toyo shod S2000 users locally.

There are a lot of discussions as to 225/245 being the best, but ultimately the difference to the handling is due to side wall stiffness more than tread width per se and will be marginal, when compared to going up to 18" wheels or even bigger...

Oh, and the cost for 4X Toyo Proxes T1-R?

I don't like my GSd3s 225s and would def go 245 again in the future. I have used 245s on the old Eagles in the past.

[QUOTE=shepp,Apr 29 2008, 01:11 PM] I definatly recomend the bridgestone's
I Have
Front: 205/55 R16 Bridgestone RE050A 91W

Rear: 225/50 R16 Bridgestone RE050A 92W

When i initially put on the new rears i thought what have i done! But once they have softened they were very good, Last weekend i put new fronts on (all originally were S02's) Now the car feels great, well balanced, sharp steering ,just as it did with the S02's. I can not recomend them enough, They are very good in the wet.
With Re050a on each corner the car feels alot more planted
If the Re050's are good enough for an enzo then i suppose they will do

The fronts cost

I think the RE050as are fine - Nick disagrees as you can see. It's simply a matter of subjective opinion.

Got RE050A on my 16" inflated to 34psi, very good grip. The higher psi makes up for the sidewll difference against the S02.

I'm gently chewing over the idea of getting Yokohama A048s when my SO2s wear down. I only drive the S for fun, and avoid the wet! If wet I'll slow down.
