Default yet another tyre thread

so far i've made a shortlist the the tyres that are available and which ones i'd spend my cash on.

currently fitted: 225/50/16 yoko's and they are pretty poor.
all tyres here-below are 245/45/16's
- Toyo T1R
- Bridgestone RE050 (in MZ branding) in 225 width
- Conti sport contacts - unsure what rev
- Goodyear F1 gsd3's (if i can get 'em)

dry performance doesn't seem much of an issue, it's more down to the wet performance, so im thinking the RE050's are the best bet.

what would you choose/avoid from the above?

Another to consider would be the Dunlop Sportmaxx, but they may only come in 225 for the rear.

225 is the official Bridgestone recommended replacement. Personally I think that a 245 would be better.

i've had RE050s fitted to the rear on mine and they are excellent so far.

The wet weather grip is on a different level to the SO2s and the dry grip has been excellent so far - i took the car through Wales at the weekend and really enjoyed my drive and it was very wet in parts.

still got SO2s on the front

I definatly recomend the bridgestone's
I Have
Front: 205/55 R16 Bridgestone RE050A 91W

Rear: 225/50 R16 Bridgestone RE050A 92W

When i initially put on the new rears i thought what have i done! But once they have softened they were very good, Last weekend i put new fronts on (all originally were S02's) Now the car feels great, well balanced, sharp steering ,just as it did with the S02's. I can not recomend them enough, They are very good in the wet.
With Re050a on each corner the car feels alot more planted
If the Re050's are good enough for an enzo then i suppose they will do

The fronts cost
