I was considering changing to a black one for a while, but you honestly wouldn't believe the amount of people that come up to pass nice comments about the colour.Although a lot of them say they aren't brave enough to have it themselves! And i'll take any excuse to post pics of it.........

I saw one the other day at J4a of the M3 and it was very eye-catching. For the first time ever I got a wave back from the chap who was driving... so it's also the friendliest colour

Has to be one of the best four colours they've done the S in. New Formula red, Imola orange and White ( ) are the other three. Sorry folks but all the other colours don't do the cars good looks justice.

It's a nice colour - quite sparkly in the sunshine as it's a Pearl finish. I like it. The yellow from MY04 onwards is a bit different to the earlier one and, IMO at least, better.
It's a lot more in-yer-face than Silverstone - whether that's a good thing depends on how extrovert you are, i suppose! It's certainly not a colour for shrinking violets.....

This is one of my favourites taken by Gary "P 1" at the Largs Power boat meet
Oh and I agree completly with J8mie's comments.

Screw for a mega deal AND BUY IT
Life is too short to worry about what others think.
Be an individual.
What's the worse case scenario?
Buy it and then hate it. So what, re-sell in the spring.
Better buy than sit in an armchair in your dottage wishing.
You could even be dead this time next year.
Yellow suits some cars more than others & on some like the pretty shaped Mini or the import & UK MX-5s yellow can look girly. A Honda S2000 is far too macho a shape to look girlie, yes even in Nurby, let alone strong yellow.
My choice of black pipped yellow by a very small margin.
BTW check out SuzieBee's rear aerofoil ( she's broadminded ) - suits the car well.

How many children have done mexican waves at your silverslow ??
Babies just gorp at my yellow S, and Old people seem confused/dazed its funny.
Even when yellow is filthy it still looks cool !!
Plus it must just look fast, ive torn past a few coppers and they have never given chase yet (grip oak).
Its a happy car it deserves a happy colour, why cover such a great piece of machinery in something that isnt eye catching. Yellow was the original ferrari colour for a reason!
As said before the small ammont of pearl in the paint looks great on a really sunny day, in england they should have put a bit more pearl in there to counter our lack of sunny days!

(Not sensible comment)
Dont worry about the goatee, homosexuality has been legal for
decades.
As for yellow, in the flesh it is stunning. First one's I saw were Moffs
and Pink Lady's earlier this year, a car like the S2000 needs to stand
out.
My next car will be yellow.
Russ.
