Xenon not working?
Morning everyone. Hope you all had a good christmas.
The S hasn't been used really since the snow started. Its been parked on my drive and warmed up every couple of days.
I came to it last night now the snow has almost all gone to put some fuel in her and give her a run out and noticed my passenger side xenon wasn't working.
I've already had a problem with this side having condensation in it, and i've had it out and attempted a fix a few months ago dried it all out etc but it soon came back.
Questions is: has anyone else had condensation in them? Can the bulbs be replaced or does it require a full unit?
And is there any difference between 05 on and earlier models?
Fortunately the car is gonna be off the road for about a month or so while i get some stuff done (test lightweight pulley kit, get ecu sorted, ceramic coat exhaust etc) so its not a major issue but its very annoying.

I've got a reoccurring condensation problem too
If I remove the rubber cover from behind the main beam lamp and leave it exposed for a few hours...the problem usually disappears for a few months
When you say Xenon...do you mean the HID lamp?
If so, have a search for 'replace HID bulb' and all will be revealed

I had this before and a ballast unit was blown, just check to see if theres power going to the ballast unit itself.
Dry the headlight on a radiator overnight and then apply silicon all the way round to the edge where the clear meets the black.

Im going to take them both off this weekend and give them a good clean and refurbish.
Ill check all the wiring etc too. A hell of alot of grit got into my engine bay when driving back from the MASE day (12.5 hour journey )
She deserves a good enginebay cleanse
