How about 5th May - bank holiday weekend?
Absolutely nothing planned that weekend so I would be up for it.

We'd probably do our usual stop on the NE coast at Bamburgh as that always seems to work well - beach BBQ if it's nice, pub if not.

Apart from that I'm open to suggestions - I'm not ruling out the borders but didn't think any of S2kJocks would be interested in a slow meet
There's a good chance my S will be gone by May my Accord would never be able to keep up on a normal meet so a slow meet would suit me fine Neil.

That weekend would probably work for me thinking about it! yes in fact of all the weekends around that one that is probably the best, so it has to be that weekend now
The NE/Borders meets tend to be well attended Danny, combine that with all the tourists on a bank holiday weekend and I guarantee we'll lose most of the pack at some point.

I recall a memorable Blurter meet where we lost the pack going through a town. We all eventually met up again, but we were at a bit of a crossroads and they were coming from every direction.

That was the meet where I managed to cause an accident while standing at the side of the road.

Some good interest then

I'll put my thinking cap on and start a proper thread in the meet forum

That would be the same Blurtermeet that I got separated from the pack at traffic lights in a town, took a wrong turning, saw an S and decided to follow it.

It wasn't until I was almost on the Windermere ferry that I realised he wasn't part of our meet at all
