We'd probably do our usual stop on the NE coast at Bamburgh as that always seems to work well - beach BBQ if it's nice, pub if not.

Apart from that I'm open to suggestions - I'm not ruling out the borders but didn't think any of S2kJocks would be interested in a slow meet

Less likely to bin it on a slow meet Scotty
I had reservations about posting in here. Wonder why.

I object strongly to the suggestion that we can't drive slowly.

Might be up for this Neil.

Would have thought you'd still want to steer clear of Bank Holiday weekends though.

Just a suggestion on a date, I thought if we get a few Southerners interested they may prefer the extra time to get back. If it's all fairly local people though, you're right - probably best on a different weekend.

As for the slow comment - I've never seen it, so assumed it didn't happen

That weekend would probably work for me thinking about it! yes in fact of all the weekends around that one that is probably the best, so it has to be that weekend now

In fact it'll be nice to be on a meet where I can actually admire the scenery for once, I bet it's gorgeous and I'll be wanting my S back

I'm interested particularly if there's a BBQ involved.

Hopefully my days working Saturdays are numbered so I should be able to attend both days.
