Hmmh! I've just checked my '06 plate. 12 months and 12k miles, and the driver side of the hood is quite well on it's way
Think I'll wait until the 18k service and see how it looks.
Threadswerve!! From all the preceding posts, this may sound impratical or have been done/tried before, but would it be possible to figure a decent Honda dealership in an area and try to get as many local S2ks through it to then get them more experienced and better at dealing with them? Probably complex to achieve?

Had my roof replaced back in May, only used the roof a few times and it is already showing wear/tear marks again in the same place.
I also had it seviced at the same time only to find the oil filter loose and dripping oil when I got home.
Don't think I will be going to Mansfield Honda again!

Shocking to have the oil filter loose!
Marcus, did they replace the frame as well as the roof then?
Guess there are only 2 options after a replacement then; shopmans tape trick, or filing off any burrs myself!
thanks
Matt

Mentioned to Cloverleaf Reading that one was being done in their Newbury branch as the service manager claimed to have never heard of this roof problem before.
Got mine booked in for mid Aug for them to look at & start the process; long time away but couldnt get it any sooner as work gets in the way sometimes!
Hope it goes well

If your Reading cloverleaf guy speaks to "Calder Leighton" at the Newbury branch, then they should be able to sort it out. Calder is the guy that arranged my work to be carried out.
Will post back with updates.

Will do Coco, thanks!
Marcus - have you thought about filing the burr off?
Felt sharp bits on mine, but also sharp edges on som of the plastic bits too - surely a no-no with a roof nearby??
