Right I've got my first 5.25" rear speaker in, I'll get someone at work to cut the second rear panel tomorrow - bloody hard work with just a stanley knife and hacksaw

The question is, how easy is it to wire the rear speakers into the OEM wire harness? I've got an array of harness pins and I'm sure I can get the connections to fit (somehow)

Does anyone know which pins to use on the MY00 UK OEM HU? I'm pretty sure the Yanks never got this HU so there's no point looking on the Electronics forum.

You are correct about the Septic's not getting the same head unit as us lucky folks......however there is at least 1 head unit in the US - the one I sent to Lucid to set up the wiring loom for his rear panels so that he could sell the loom into the UK. I dont know whether Lucid would consider offering you a little advice on the subject. I always found him very approachable and helpful despite the fact the questions I asked where effectively doing him out of business! (I believe my car was the 1st in the UK to have 'Lucid style' rears fitted. I replaced the head unit as well though).

 

It would be easy to work out from someone that has a Lucid rear speaker loom.

I am sure that someone must have posted the details on here at some time.

 

I know CTR has an adapter, might be asking too much for someone to take apart their stereo trim to get to it though
