ok cool i have now caught on with the ESM lingo!!!!
What ill do is take a piccy of the converter I have and where to buy it from, and label the wires accordingly once i've figured out it works!!!!

I think nyou'll find as well that on the blue/white wires, one will be blue with a white stripe and the other will be white with a blue stripe (just have to look VERY carefully )

I'm going to give it a go tomorrow so will let you know how I get on.
This is the plan of action!
The red wire is going to be fed an Igniton Live
The black wire is going to be earthed
The blue wire is going to go to splice into a wire going into the back of the LCD clock display ( I know which one but easier to explain with a pic! - third one in on the top left hand side of the big black plug if you look at it from the back!!)
The orange wire is going to go to the ECM where the Blue/White wire leaves it (VSS wire). I'm going to cut the blue/white wire and join the orange one to it. 'Apparantly' this should work!!!! - I hope!!!!!
