Which wire is......
Im trying to find what wire from the ECU is the speedo wire. My JDM S2000 is still restricted to 112mph and I have the de-restrictor but ill be fooked if i know what wire it is!! I have 4 wires to connect:
Red - Ignition Live
Black - Earth
Orange - Splice into speedo wire behind clocks (sorted this wire!)
Blue - Speedo into ECU - cut wire (not splice) and join.
Does anyone have any ideas? Ive looked on the tech.manual / CD but cant find it!!
Cheers

Right,
The only blue wire seems to leave the under dash CPU for the ECM (numbered C5).
I too cannot see a blue to the ECM, so I presume it's changed colour somewhere in the loom.
Can you access it near the CPU?

Been through this pain over past week...
I thought I found the feed entering the car in the driver's footwell, two frazzled yellow jackets tell me it was a 12v wire I tapped I've since tried to trace the VSS wire from the gearbox - it runs up behind the engine and unfortunately joins a bundle of shielded wires which split off in a couple of directions.
My best guess is that it enters the car in the passenger's footwell (grommet behind the battery) before branching into the ECU and then under the dash to the instrument panel. However, it was so tight to work behind the ECU, and the risk of another cock up on my mind, that I tapped the VSS under the gearbox and ran twin core wires into the engine bay, through the grommet behind the battery, into the passenger footwell.

It then loops behind the ECM and you can see it again in the bunch of wires heading up to the dash (but also notice the second white/blue wire in the photo below, one of the wires on the right, hence my paranoia as that could be the VSS wire )

Will you have it installed by the weekend?
My priority over the weekend is to replace the seized bush. If I sort this out quickly then I have the yellow box, Spoon lightweight battery and the cusco ant-roll bars (if they get delivered) to install.
