Thumbs up Wiper issues

My wipers have always juddered across the screen. Tried eleventy million brands of blades with no result. Is it just my car or have others had the same problem? If so, did you manage to cure it,and how.

Does it judder both ways?
Is it both wipers?

Normally it is due to the arm having a slight, invisible to the naked eye, twist in it causing the blade to 'dig in' to the screen on either the up stroke or the down stoke. This causes judder.

It won't matter how many blades you try the problem will persist and you need to twist the arm to stop this. It's ahrd to explain how it's easier to show.

Its one way but seems to be both arms. Your theory seems to make sense and it looks like an arm change is looming. Has anyone done this without having to pay Honda prices, which I expect will be
Edited to say that I would be doing the work myself but don't want to pay Honda parts prices.

The judder can be fixed. You don't need new arms. A couple of pairs of pliers (wrap the teeth in duct tape to prevent scratching your wiper arms) and give them a little twist and it should be sorted. May take a little trial and error but it will work. If I lived closer I would come and have a go for you. But there may be someone on here close by who can do it if you don't want to.

An adjusable spanner works better than pliers, I've found. The arms are surprisingly 'twangy' metal, so it take quiate a lot of force to permanently deform them, but you only need to twist them a tiny bit. That reminds me, my driver's side needs doing...
