Just noticed the Chamberlain motorlift dangling down on one of your photos. Was it easy to fit as I am considering one at the moment. Just a bit worried re having 19kg of metal suspended over the S

I can't comment on ease of fitting as it came as standard on the house. It does work very well though, probably best to use some big a$$ screws to hold it in place for peace of mind.
From what I know you need to get the right kind of mechanism to suit your existing garage door.
I believe Maca fitted one at his place so he may be able to help out on the technicalities.
