Do what I am doing. Take it to a professional (in this case the lovely Tango) and let them deal with it!

Whilst they're cleaning your car, secure a spare room in their house, drink them out of chocolate porter and return home the next morning!

It's a win win situation!

Sorry, i pressed post before i was finished....

@ Bandit_287, i used the Megs quick detailer when claying and the car looked a treat afterwards, didnt really need a polish but i gave it one anyway. I'll be defo using it again after washing in the future.

I'll try put some pics up later.

Cheers for all the feedback.
It's good stuff, keep a bottle in the car to remove bird crap and tar spots etc whenever required.

I have even Qd'ed the windows on my house for sparking shiney water repelling glass.

Not sure if its better or worse, but I try to hose down the underside in the winter to help remove any road salt from any poorly undersealed bits
Have done this on my fun cars and 'beaters' all my life.
I hate it when you look into the wheel apertures and see congealed mud or even just dirt, yet the rest of the car is all shiny. It just proves somebody has not been thorough and set good comphrensive standards and done a proper job.

When it comes to wheel arches and the underside I go for a fairly gentle spray but keep repeating the process until all the muck becomes diluted and falls off.
A piercing jet of water is too likely to force water where you don't want it.
