Windscreen replaced

All good and well, Pilkington glass. However the pillock could not put back the rear view mirror as he couldn't undo the grubscrew (loctite I guess). Grrr... Is this common, he seemed to say it was on our cars. BTW AA say they will supply and fit a new rear view mirror.

It's a left-handed thread, IIRC.

It's a bit fiddly to get the tension right and then snap it back on.
