- Bramblecat, done by Autoshades in Sutton, good professional shop and can definitely recommend them.

-Gaspode, it's ok, if you knew who I was you wouldn't ask me if I was famous You'd recognise me from TV!
Ever since I upset Jamie Callum - by thinking he was Gareth Gates.

I try to avoid "Celebs"

Tinted windows on a convertable?

Am I really the only one who can see the insanity of that?

I think it looks nice on a big saloon car.

But why wouldn't you want to be seen in an S2000 ????

I like heavy tints on light coloured cars - the contrast looks great.

I've only had tints on one vehicle - a white Isuzu Trooper some years ago - and they were very dark. I was pulled by the Police in it - not for the windows per se, but I was following a motorcade with what transpired was HRH Prince Charles driving a Range Rover from Kielder Water to Newcastle Airport and I thought I'd play 'keep-up'. At a set of temporary traffic lights one of the boys in blue got out of the RR to have a 'look' at me...

Nice tints WinFreak, where did you get them done? Most places won't do them nowadays and I was thinking of lightening mine a bit as it's a bit of a pain in the dark trying to reverse.

Two and a half years and I've not been pulled......Yet
Probably shouldn't have said that
had mine done on the S, medium tint and never had a problem in 2.5 years either. My Passat has a light tint all round, again been on for 3 years now and not had any problems. Looks dark in the rain and at night but most other times its very subtle. Safer in an accident and puts people off breaking the window as its more hassle to smash the glass out.

Think South Yorkshire police have only 2 light meters so not much chance of getting pulled unless you take pi55 and have limo tint on the front sides!
