Windows tinted
I know there's a lot of people who complain about it and think it's hideous, but I love it and think it looks awesome... and it gives me the opportunity to whore some photos as I haven't done that yet

I think it looks great.
But the cops won't.
Which is why I didn't bother myself.

As far as i remember your not allowed to tint your windscreen or front windows at all. The back windows you can do what you want, i think this came about because of a bad motorcycle accident a good few years ago and they blamed the tints.
P.s i had light tints in the front and medium in the back on my yaris t sport and never got stopped, but they were barely noticable on the front.

Knew I was going to get the famous resonse, funny enough I've been using the search for similar topics, and saw exactly the same response from exactly the same person. in a lot of other topics...
It's 'very light' tint, so hope the police won't bother me with it, and they're far too busy racing around trying to catch criminals round here so I think I'll be fine.

BTW you won't get your licence endorsed for dark glass normally.
A rectification chit probably the first time, but don't push your luck
You can see a couple of points and a punitive fine though as Gas rightly says - construction & use offence.
Legally you have to see 75% light transmission into the car.
As nearly all cars have a slight tint, virtually all added tint will put you over that threshold.
I HAVE been stopped for dark glass on my Impreza, in rural Somerset where boredom is an issue

Nice tints WinFreak, where did you get them done? Most places won't do them nowadays and I was thinking of lightening mine a bit as it's a bit of a pain in the dark trying to reverse.
Two and a half years and I've not been pulled......Yet
Probably shouldn't have said that
