WINDOW RATTLE
Still cannot locate source of a rattle when drivers window is up and hood down.
It goes away when window droped about half way down.
It's right by my ear and seems to come from the top right and part of door innards.
Have sprayed fabric lubricant and WD40 down through gap in glass and sealing rubbers.
Checking out a picture of the door with interior panel removed indicates I would be unable to access this section of the innards in any case.
Darn thing is the Honda dealer mechanic was unable to detect the noise himself, so reluctant to return it to the supplying dealer for what seems a minor matter.
Perhaps I should concentrate on the lovely exhaust sound or turn the radio up!!!
( my 1990 MX-5 was 100% rattle free from 30K miles to 70k miles )

Mine rattled from new in the same place, but was worse with the stereo on. It turned out to be the door handle on the outside. It has a couple of rubber stops under it and these wern't making contact with the handle. I used a little rubber drawer stop (like the ones you get in flat pack furniture) on top of the black rubber and it cured it.

I had what I was absolutely convinced was a rattle or creak from the driver's side window. It was eventually identified as a rattle from the door itself and was cured by applying some lube to the rubber door stop on the sill.
Could have sworn it sounded like glass ...

Sure its not the spare wheel? Or the back of the drivers seat fouling the rear trim? These sorts of noises have a strange ability to travel and fool you into thinking it is elsewhere!
