Looking at those high wind deflector, - at £95 its' not cheap, - is there any other alternatives?

Also would like to ask, - how well it works / is worth the money?

i was planning on dismantling mine and making a new one at work; but thats because i have a laser cutter. must admit the price for the replacement is high, but then your paying for the design work and trialling to get it to that point.

i dont think theres any ebay knockoffs either
£20-30 area would be good, but £60+ is just OTT for both used and new.

I'd make one out of some plywood first to see whether it's really worth wasting your money on!

I agree - I was going to make a dxf and get batch run off - even in polycarbonate I can't see why they should be more than £30 each. Economies of scale is key, obviously.

if someone has an old one knocking around that i could borrow; saves me dismantling mine for now. i can do all the drawings and make some for people. i reckon i could do them for about 30 quid a piece.

Try a quick PM to Loftus He used to make them in either clear or smoked polycarbonate for around the price you are looking to pay.

I have a smoked one on mine and being a tall bloke at 6'6" it's been a very good investment

I'd love to make some more, but it takes 4-5 hours to hand make a decent one, and I just don't have the time

FWIW, it does make a difference, as does perspex in the headrest

Agreed, I bought one from Ricks, but snapped it a month later, got a sheet of polycarbonate and was able to get 3 out of them! Its possible, the hardest thing is the line across the top, need to get it done properly and the edges finished properly..
IIRC the poly only cost me £33, I got 6mm I think..
