Default Wind noise from hood

I'm now getting a fair amount of wind noise when the hood is up from across where the hood meets the front windscreen.

If I pull down using the handle the wind noise stops - so, can anyone let me know if there is a way of tightening/adjusting the hood latches ????

Search! Also make sure the seals are well greased as per instruction book.

You probably need to replace the striker plates. (See the FAQ under "Rattling Roof Catches")

Check the rubber gasket that runs along the back of the hood on the car. Some people pull that out to allow more air flow through the engine compartment. You could just have an unseated molding.

Ha Ha I' read this post early this morning and being a dumb American who can't interpret the Queens English. I mis translated hood.

I guess I have my hoods and bonnets confused.

That's what I get for trying to be helpful.

I also hadn't realised (until i read it elsewhere, hard top fitting instruction I think) that the official adjustment on the locking catches was via inserting/removing 1mm shims behind the locking plate. I always assumed that they could be adjusted via adjusting screws?
