Default Wind Noise

I have just bought an S2000 and have noticed that at speeds between 60mph and above I get a lot of wind noise. I just wanted to check if this was normal or wether I have not closed the roof well enough or if it needs adjusting if at all possible.

I am probably talking nonsense but just wanted to check

Cheers all

Do the roof handle mod found in the technical section (plastic tubes over hooks) this is mainly the cure for rattles but it adds tention to the roof pulling it down a little more, check your header rail when roof is up, does the front edge of the roof look like it is sitting flush.

The noise could be coming from the side weatherstrips, you can adjust the rake of the drop glass (side windows) to make them push harder against the rubbers. (This also cures leaks to a degree)

when you're driving along and you get the noise, pull down on the header rail. If the wind noise reduces, then its because the roof striker plates are worn.

The wind noise does reduce when you pull the center handle down to a degree, the car only had a new roof in July of last year!!! will try putting rubbers on the hooks. How do you adjust the window position to the rubbers on the sides?

Thanks for all your help

Strikers like the others said. I'd also get them to check the alignment on the roof!
