Default Wind deflector

In my breif ownership I have aready done a fair bit of top down driving amd being far from follicley challenged sometimes its like driving through a tornado in a hairdressers so my 2 questions are.

1. Do the wind deflectors make much diffrence (I dont have anything at the moment)
2. How do they fit. I have looked under the "secret comparment " and can see two indents, I assume these are the screw location points?

On the later cars there's 2 holes in there with 2 captive m4 or m5 nuts.

I would also put 2 clear plastic bits in the hole in the seats, this seems to help too.

I have the larger after market wind deflector and I also have the clear plastic that goes in the seat vents and it does make a difference.

Where do you get the clear plastic for the seats?

Can just cut them from any clear plastic you can find as long as it's not too thick that it doesn't fit

Also you can search'S2000 headrest' and you'll see some U.S. headrest inserts which are excellent, stylish and they work. (so the missus tells me).

Probably no longer available but construction is simples. (foam, old CD, some leather and an auto trimmer).

I got some waste off-cuts of perspex from a local plastics supplier and made some in about 30 mins.

Pop the trim off the back of the head rest, draw around the inner "loop" cut out and then with a bit of fettling they'll push in nice and tight!

100% Free and pretty effective!
