Will a tubular manifold increase the noise?
I currently have an HKS dual exit exhaust system (with Cat as the MOT is next week). I'm tempted by a Dixon Manifold and possibly the full system too but what I wanted to know is will a tubular manifold increase the noise of the exhaust at idle?
I have to leave the house around 05:30 each day and my neighbours have already made mutterings about my current exhaust. Nothing too heavy mind, I can't hear it in our house when it's running on the drive. To be honest, the whine of the PRM is probably louder if anything.
Just thought I'd best check as I don't really want any ill feeling in the street.
(The neighbour can't get too heavy as he has an old Vincent motorcycle that he fires up at 6am most spring and summer mornings on the weekends and that sounds like thunder).

Aftermarket manifolds tend to flow more gas / reduce pressure and thus it will change the noise from the exhaust slightly. I can't recall it ever making a noticable difference on mine though.
