Will a Honda dealer do an inspection
Good news is that I think I have found my car!! Right miles, right price and HPI Clear.
My only thing is should I get inspected before buying - I have checked all the things best I can in the buyers guide and it all looks and drives straight. But I am no mechanic.
Does anybody know if Honda will inpect a car (I am prepared to pay) to check suspension etc.. I would pay the AA but not sure they will look beyond the obvious to some things specific to the S2000.
Any one have suggestions/Views on what I should do?

Is this the lower mileage MCB, Rich?
AA and RAC subcontract all of their checks to DEKRA thesedays. The people who have had them done have said that the engineers who did the inspections seemed to know what they were doing.
If suspension being stuck is the concern, I doubt very much that having Honda do an inspection will tell you much either way - Honda don't even officially acknowledge that there's a problem.
The quality of Honda's technicians also seems to be very variable - there are some very good ones who know the car inside out but they're few and far between and there are a lot more who are far more used to working on Civics and Accords.....
Didn't you get a DEKRA inspection on your first one? I seem to remember you saying it had been reasonably thorough.

I did and the first inspection was OK, wondering if it is worth spending the money on AA. Am I better off using the money to put to a warantee??
I think an inspection of some description would be wise though.
Yes, it is the lower mileage one. All services done by approved Honda service centres.
