Default Will clear indicators pass an MOT?

Silly question, but just wanted to check if anyone knows if clear indicators will pass MOT ok as I've replaced my orange ones now..!

I guess its OK as I think the later models had clear ones anyway?

As above you need to fit silver bulbs that flash orange

Balls, the bulbs are still white.. I'll have to find my orange lenses and pop them in, probably easiest..

Cheers

Surely you can get the bulbs from Halfords?? That'd be easier I'd have thought

Or even you MOT tester could supply and fit whilst doing the test. They usually 'wear out' and start flashing white after a few years, so wouldn't be out the norm for them to replace these bulbs.

Well if I'm taking the lens off to put the orange bulb in I might as well just put the orange lens back on and save myself 50p.

If you put an orange bulb you only have to take them off once

Ok ok you win

Bit harsh though selling up because you don't want to change the bulbs!

I know I'm just so sick of the strict rules in the UK, just makes it no fun to own a car with clear indicators when you have to resort to stunts like this. For those reasons I'm out.
