I agree. My location is general and not particularly accurate but it gives a general clue. Everyones spread so far, it'd be nice to know there's someone not a million miles away. Even if it's just compass headings.

wouldnt be hard to google my (rather unique) name, and find what other forums i'm on.
some of which involve meets/weekend escapades.

if they really want my car, then im sure attacking someone as the leave/goto the car is the way and forum research would be a bit further down the list.

address/postcode is silly, but i wouldnt give that out on forums anyhoo. cities are a big place so whats the chances of internet research being useful to an exact location?
