Default Why did honda increase spring rate on the front?

OEM Spring rates by year (front/rear)

MY00-01 = 218/291
MY02-03 = 240/230
MY04-07 = 256/207
MY08-UP = 274/225

Looking at these spring rates, from MY02 upwards the front is higier than the rear.

Is this to try and stop the rear kicking out as easily???

Promotes understeer and therefor making the car 'safer'.

They have a trend of going up to allow for thinner softer antiroll bars

it was to make the handling more benign on/near the limit by introducing more understeer

or to 'improve handling' if you're a big girls blouse
