You don`t mean that . I wouldn`t get rid of your wife....she`s a great night out.

Geeks, us? Nah..... we just talk about the differences between a model. Thats just normal.

The car gaps are not more than the pre 04's but the 04 with the biiger wheels is higher overall.

My measurements on an 04 with half a tank of petrol:

gap between tyre and wheel arch
Front: 54 mm
Rear: 44 mm

Height of wheel arch from ground level
Front: 670 mm
Rear: 667 mm

All s's need to be lower, if you pull up alongside an Mx5 the Mazda is alot lower. The wheel arch gap seems to be exagerated the bigger the wheels. If you look at some of the pics of people running 18s the gap is more noticeable. Shame the japs dont seem to have got this one.
Why do we have to be as low as a mazda? I don't want to be compared with that car...

The Mazda is a tiny , tiny car in comparsion to the S. There is a guy that lives in the same block off flats as I do. Both cars are sometimes parked next to each other and my car is much larger than his. The wheels look tiny in comparison too
