I had an 00 and then a 03 and they did not change by any noticeable amount. I would want it to look how it is in the brochure, are Honda doing a bit of giggery pokery with the photos or putting some sand in the boot? All s's need to be lower, if you pull up alongside an Mx5 the Mazda is alot lower. The wheel arch gap seems to be exagerated the bigger the wheels. If you look at some of the pics of people running 18s the gap is more noticeable. Shame the japs dont seem to have got this one.

I always seem to feel sitting as high in my car as other harchback and saloons compared to Z4's, MX5's or even porkers. I wish our seat was lower. Yesterday a CRX was behind me at the light and they were sitting lower in their car than me and they had no mods or lowered suspension either. Why?

This is weird just looked in my old my00 brochure and they give the height of the car as 1285mm from the ground to top of widscreen frame yet in the 04 its given as 1270mm. Im not sure where they take the measurement to in the 04 but you would assume its the same. suggesting that the 04 is lower. I think its the wheel arch gap thing more than anything. Tell you what one of you 04 owners measure the gap from the top of the wheel arch to the start of the alloy wheel rim front and back, ill do my 03 tonight and if someone can do an my 00 then we can compare. (In mm).

Ignore the alloy wheel and do it to the top of the tyre, just remembered the 04s on 17s. Doh!
