Default who's got my car cover?

i love the brits.
went away for a break left car in long stay car park @ gatwick. didn't want all the muck for 7 days landing on my car, so i put on the full car cover. fitted like a puppet glove. i,m parked under the security camera, car is locked, tracker notified. great let's get away. go away to a place where you can leave any belongings on beach snorkling etc.etc all day come back and everything still intact.
13 hr flights back get to car......no bloody cover.(just a dirty car). see security "it was there 4 day's ago mate" "oh and have you read our terms and conditions mate, were not liable" cheers!

anybody get offered a cheap car cover remember me when you buy it.

Are you sure that it didn't just blow off. When the wind gets under these things, they just parachute. PS Not been to Gatwick for some years.

Maybe the security guards were bored and THEY stole the cover just so that they had something nice to look at all week!

On the bright side, it could have been worse. You could have come back to the cover but no car.

How can they evade responsibility? Surely security is part of the service they offer.

There's probably a sign saying "Parked at owners risk" - a PITA though

That's a blood boiler alright!!

The worst bit to my mind is that is has to be either, some really stupid sod who has no use for it at all, or even worse, there is someone out there with an S who would do something like that.
